CDT will be pleased to secure your China Visa for $180 per person and
Vietnam Visa for $125 per person. Please mail original passport along with one
(1) passport size (2" x 2") photo and completed visa application form to China
Discovery Tours at least 60 days prior to departure. Visa fee is subject to change
and is non-refundable once the visa is issued. If you are applying for your own
visa, a copy of your passport and entry visa should be sent to China Discovery
Tours. All document and tickets will be issued under your passport name. For
those traveling to Japan or Thailand, US passport holders do not need a visa to
enter these countries on our tours. CDT is not responsible when you are denied
entrance for any reason at any foreign country, even if you have a valid passport
and visa.
Without exception, all travelers to China MUST have a valid Chinese visa in their passport prior to boarding a flight to China.
All travelers to China must have a valid Chinese visa inside their passport in order to board the flight for China, no exceptions. We offer
a visa processing service through the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles. The process takes approximately 10-12 business days.
In order to process the visa, we must have your passport, a completed and signed visa application, and an additional passport-sized photo.
We require that passports be sent via Registered mail, Fed-Ex or Express Mail. Full details concerning visa processing are included in your Confirmation Packet
after your deposit is placed.

PASSPORT: CHINA REQUIRES THAT YOUR PASSPORT BE VALID AT LEAST 7 MONTHS PAST THE DATE YOU WILL ENTER CHINA.
If you do not have a passport, or if your passport has expired or will expire, you must apply for a new passport. U.S. passports
are easily processed through the U.S. Postal Service. Contact the nearest post office for processing information in your area. Normal processing
time may take as long as 6-8 weeks, but can be expedited in around 7-10 days for an additional fee.
AIRLINE TICKETS / FLIGHT INFORMATION: The tour price for non "land only" tours includes international airfare. all tickets are
economy class and are based on our agency's excellent contract rates out of Los Angeles. Business and First Class seats are available for a significant
premium (please call for current quotes). Air China does have a mileage program, and you may be elegible to receive credit for the Air China flights,
but you will be responsible for processing your mileage accounts with Air China at the time of check-in. Air China is a non-smoking airline.
Baggage allowance is limited to one large check-in piece and one carryon per person. The flight time to Beijing is about 12 hours. Further details about
check-in, seating, baggage transfer, baggage dimensions, etc., is included in your Confirmation Packet. (air carrier subject to change based upon availability)
