Day 1-2 Depart from LAX
Board a Trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
Arrive in Beijing and check into the hotel. Later, we visit
famous sites of the 2008 Olympic Games which includes
the Bird's Nest, the Water Cube (outside), Yonghegong,
and Beihai Park. In the evening, we are treated to a
famous Peking Duck Welcome Banquet.
Day 4 Beijing - Datong (AB, L, D)
Board a morning flight to Datong. Upon arrival, we visit
the Yungang Grottoes and the Huayan Monastery.

Day 5 Datong - Pingyao (AB, L, D)
Travel to Pingyao and on the way, we visit Overhanging
Monastery and Wooden Pagoda. Wooden Pagoda is
China's tallest and oldest Buddhist pagoda constructed
entirely of wood.
Day 6 Pingyao - Taiyuan (AB, L, D)
City tour of Pingyao, the financial center in Qing Dynasty,
now an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, we visit
Risheng Chang Old Bank and Qiao Family's courtyard
house followed by a drive to Taiyuan.
Day 7 Taiyuan - Xian (AB, L, D)
Take a Taiyuan city tour before flying to Xian. Upon arrival
at Xian airport, we are transfered to our hotel where we
enjoy a free evening.

Day 8 Xian (AB, L, D)
Spend an exciting day as we visit the Terracotta Warriors
excavation site. Three pits contain over 7,300 warriors,
horses and chariots crafted more than 2,000 years ago
in honor of China's first Emperor Qin Shi Huang. In the
evening, we indulge ourselves with a spectacular Tang
Dynasty Show and a Chinese Dumpling Banquet.
Day 9 Xian - Luoyang (AB, L, SD)
Visit City Wall and Big Goose Pagoda before driving or
taking a train to Luoyang. Have a Luoyang flavor dinner
for the evening.
Day 10 Luoyang-Shaolin-Zhengzhou (AB, L, D)
In Luoyang, we visit Longmen Grottoes and Guan Mausoleum. We continue on in the afternoon
with a drive to Shaolin Temple, best known for its martial arts. Zongyue Temple at Songshang,
Talin, and Shaolin Martial Arts School are other sites we visit in Shaolin. Later, we travel to
Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province.
Day 11 Kaifeng (AB, L, SD)
Arrive in Kaifeng, where we visit Dragon Pavilion, Lord Bao's Temple and Kaifeng-Fu. Later, we
head back to Zhengzhou and have a Henan bun dinner for the evening.
Day 12 Zhengzhou-Shanghai (AB, L)
Board a flight to Shanghai and then check into our hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Day 13 Shanghai (AB)
Free day to explore Shanghai.
Day 14 Shanghai - USA (AB)
Free morning in Shanghai before catching a flight back home.
