Day 1 Beijing-Hohhot (L)
Take a flight from Beijing to Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia. Upon arrival into Hohhot, we will be greeted by our tour director who will check us into our hotel.
Day 2 Mongolian Grasslands (AB, L, D)
This morning we visit the 16th century Dazhao Lamasery built in 1579 and the Five Pagoda Monastery built in 1732. Next we go to the Mongolian Culture and History Museum. After lunch we venture into the Mongolian grasslands where we visit the Aobao Shan. Then we meet the local Mongols as they greet us with buttered tea and demonstrate Mongolian cultural activities such as horse racing and wrestling. Complete the night by spending in a Mongolian Yurt Camp.

Day 3 Mongolian Grasslands - Baotou (AB, L, D)
In the morning we return to Hohhot where we visit the largest and best preserved monastery in Inner Mongolia, Wudangzhou, which was built in the Qing Dynasty. Board our motor coach in the afternoon for Baotou, the major industrial and tourist destination in Inner Mongolia.

Day 4 Baotau - Dongsheng - Hohhot (AB, L, D)
Today we visit Resonant Sand Bay and cross the Great Yellow River Bridge on our way to Dongsheng. Major attraction in Dongsheng is the mausoleum of the Great Genghis Kahn. The coffins containing the remains of the Kahn are enshrined in this memorial designed in the style of three Mongolian Yurts. Afterwards, we head back to Baotou.
Day 5 Hohhot - Beijing (AB)
Board our domestic flight to Beijing. The rest of the day is free to explore Beijing or rest up.
Day 6 Beijing-USA
Free morning before catching our flight back home.
