Day 1 Taipei
Upon arrival in Taipei, our local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for the rest of the evening.
Day 2 Taipei - Sun Moon Lake (AB)
This morning, you will drive to Sun Moon Lake which is located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. The tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as Literature-Warrior Temple, dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, as well a the Holy Monk Shrine and Ci En Pagoda. After touring around Sun Moon Lake, you will check into your hotel. Upon check in, you have the option to enjoy the spa and a natural hot spring bath.

Day 3 Sun Moon Lake - Foguangshan Monastery - Kaohsiung (AB)
After a pleasant breakfast, check out of the hotel. We will drive past the small, old Jiji Railway Station and continue to the most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan, Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery. Here you will learn about Buddhism during the monastery walking tour and visit "Buddha Memorial Center". You will have a chance to communicate with some of the local monks and nuns during the visit. Our adventure continues with an opportunity to taste a Buddhist vegetarian lunch (at your own cost). Continuing, we will drive to Kaohsiung City, which is the second largest city of Taiwan. The tour will take you to Love River and Liuhe Night Market. Relax overnight at Kaohsiung.
Day 4 Kaohsiung - Kenting - Zhiben Hot Springs (AB)
Enjoy a morning tour to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southern tip, as well as the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park. Stops will be made at Eluanbi Lighthouse, Maobitou coastal scenic area and Longpan Park. Continuing on, you will drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway. Enjoy an overnight stay at Zhiben.
Day 5 Taitung - East Coast National Scenic Area - Hualien (AB)
After breakfast, you will have an exciting East Coast Tour of Taiwan. The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as “Taiwan’s last unspoiled land”, stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. Your tour will stop at Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping (Stone Steps), a marble factory and showroom. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to Hualien for an overnight stay at Taroko National Park.
Day 6 Hualien - Taroko Gorge - Taipei (AB)
After breakfast, make a visit to Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow ravine created by the Liwu River, which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinds its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Passing by Tunnel of Nine Turns, Ci Mu Bridge, stops will be made at Swallow Grotto, Changchun Temple and Shakadang Trail. We will then drive back to Taipei with a stop at Qingshui Cliff, and drive through Syue-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 km) to arrive by early evening.

Day 7 Taipei (AB)
Today you will visit the Presidential Building, the famous monumental Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, the Martyrs' Shrine and a traditional Taiwanese Temple. Later, you will complete the tour by exploring the National Palace Museum and a local handicraft center

Enjoy your last day in Taipei. A transfer from the hotel to the airport is included.
