Day 1-2 USA West Coast-Vietnam
Board a Trans-Pacific flight to Vietnam.
Day 3 Hanoi - Arrival (B)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our tour guide will
transfer us to our hotel in the center of the city. In the
evening, we are treated with a welcome Water Puppet Show.
Day 4 Hanoi (B, L)
We begin our day visiting the Tran Quoc Pagoda, One
Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Ho Chi
Minh's Stilt House. In the afternoon, we visit Van Mieu
(the first National University) and Hoan Kiem Lake.
Day 5 Hanoi - Halong (B, L,D)
Depart for Halong, a world heritage area of outstanding
natural beauty. Upon arrival, we cruise around Ha Long
Bay, passing by Dog Island, Incense Urn Island and Ga
Cho. A delicious local seafood lunch will be served on
the Junk Boat.
Day 6 Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Hue (B, L)
In the morning, we cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay, Fire Island,
Bo Nau Island, and Fishing Village. Lunch is served on the
boat prior to our arrival at Ha Long Wharf. On the way
to the Hanoi Airport, we visit either Dong Trieu or Phu
Lang Ceramic Village.

Day 7 Hue City (B, L)
Today, we will visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue, King
Tu Duc's Tomb, King Minh Mang Tomb (typical formal
oriental style designed) and Thien Mu Pagoda.
Optional dinner at Royal Park Restaurant with Hue Royal
formality and Hue Folk songs performed by ladies in Hue
Long dresses.
Day 8 Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L)
Along the way to Hoi An Town, we will drive through
Hai Van Pass and stop by Lang Co Beach, one of the
most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. We continue onto
Danang for a visit to the Cham Museum where we see
the open air collection of the breathtaking sandstone
Cham Sculptures.

Day 9 Hoi An Town (B)
In the morning, we take a walking tour of the ancient tiny town Hoi An. This visit includes
the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical Vietnamese
houses of the 18th century. The rest of the day can be spent either shopping in town, or
relaxing on the beach.
Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi (B, L)
In the morning, we visit the Reunification Palace, Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Jade
Emperor Pagoda, and Chinatown. After lunch, the trip continues to Cu Chi, where we visit
the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the
long struggle for independence.
Optional visit to My Son, a World Heritage in Hoi An Town
Day 11 Mekong Delta - My Tho (B, L)
Ride along the rice fields to My Tho, one of the Mekong Delta Province, where we cruise to
the My Tho fruit market and the Tien River. The cruise continues to Unicorn Island, where
you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music preformed by the
islanders. Have lunch at a typical country garden house. Next, we visit the Coconut Candy
"Mill" and some other local industries in the Ben Tre Province. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh
for an overnight stay.
Optional Euro-Asian buffet dinner on the Bonsai Cruise over Saigon River.
Day 12 Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
Free morning in Ho Chi Minh before catching a flight back home.
